Key Team Members

Greg

Greg is a Chartered Accountant and an Independent Tax Practitioner. BCom, PDipAcc, MCom(Tax), MCom (International Tax), CA(SA).

Greg graduated from Rhodes University in 2000 and completed his articles with KPMG in Johannesburg where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. From there he moved into KPMG’s International Tax team.

Apart from a brief stint working in London (where he contracted Deutsche Bank, PepsiCo, EY, and EDS), he has remained in the tax field, first with KPMG and thereafter PwC where, before leaving, he headed up the tax practice regionally.

His focus areas are corporate tax and international corporate tax. He has a master's degree in tax from Rhodes University, South Africa as well as a second master's degree in international tax from North West University (Potchefstroom, South Africa).

His experience includes corporate restructurings; mergers and acquisitions; buy-side (vendor) and sell-side tax due diligence; International tax structuring (effective management, controlled-foreign company, and Permanent Establishment issues), and developing and coordinating pan-African health checks, and advising on emerging tax technical issues and legislative developments.

Greg is an avid trail runner and can often be found traversing the peaks of the Drakensberg

Richard

Richard is a Chartered Accountant and an Independent Tax Practitioner.

BBus.Sci Accounting, Economics and Finance Hons, Accounting Hons, ACA, CA(SA). Post Graduate Diploma Advanced Company Law

Richard graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2000 and completed his articles with KPMG in Johannesburg where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

From there, Richard joined KPMG London's Transaction and Restructuring team specialising in Banking and Asset Management M&A and Stock Market Listings. Richard has subsequently had 16 years of Investment Banking experience in Leverage and Acquisition Finance. both in London and Johannesburg.

Richard enjoys a game of squash, Sunday papers, and the occasional hack around the golf course.

Sue

Sue ensures the cogs keep turning! She is primarily responsible for clients' financial and management accounting and is at the frontline for client support. Sue has extensive experience in financial management and tax compliance having worked across various industries.

Sue enjoys traveling, a game of bowls and is a chef extraordinaire!
